guilty pleasure

I just have to tell everyone about one of my favorite guilty pleasures. About a year ago, maybe slightly less, a woman at work brought in some treats. Her husband works for Nestle and always sends lots of goodies. What's really cool about him is that he gets preview treats, unreleased candies that Nestle will be selling in the months to come. She let me try cranberry raisinets. I was instantly hooked! As an avid chocolate consumer, and someone who LOVES craisins, this was just the perfect combination! After a few months, I still had not seen them on the shelves in stores and was concerned that they had not passed through the market research period, but she informed me that they would be available in stores in the months to come...and then she brought me a whole bag full of them! I've stretched that supply to last me probably the last 6 months, and I've just finished it. I still have not seen them in stores, but alas, as a farewell gift, she filled a beautiful vera bradley tote bag with cranberry raisinets, baby ruths, and crunch bars! She is a wonderfully thoughtful woman, and I'll probably talking about her in the posts to follow.

*Please note, I have not been overindulging (or even indulging) myself on a regular basis, I plan to make that chocolate supply last me well into the upcoming year.

**Also note, cranberry raisonets are especially delicious when accompanied by a warm cup of tea.

They sound delicious. Wow. So yum! And props for controlling yourself - if I had a seemingly endless supply of delectable chocolate treats in *my* apartment, I'd have trouble stretching them longer than a week!
